July 29th 1734

“We hear an Indian Woman on the 9th of this Month took a Boy out of his Bed of about 9 years old and threw him in a Well, where he perished; she afterwards confessed the Fact and the Coroners Inquest brought the Indian Woman in Guilty of Willful Murder. It’s said, said Woman has been try’d before for Murder at Barnstable” [4].

“We heard from York, that on Thursday last the Indian Woman was Executed there for the murder of her Master’s Child, as mentioned in one of our former Papers” [4].
