Pulp Serials of the 1940s
Pulp magazines in the 1940s were a huge part of the Golden Age of Science Fiction. Under John W. Campbell, Jr. Astounding published works by scifi giants like Isaac Asimov, Lester del Rey, Robert A. Heinlein, Henry Kuttner and C.L. Moore, Theodore Sturgeon, L. Sprague de Camp, Jack Williamson, L. Ron Hubbard, and Clifford D. Simak.
Another title, Super Science Stories, edited by Alden H. Norton, published the first work by Ray Bradbury, "Pendulum," in 1941.
