Notable Details
This issue features one of the first publications of a Robert E. Howard Conan the Barbarian story, “The People of the Black Circle.” Conan is Howard’s most popular creation and one of the most successful, enduring characters to emerge from the pulp era. Conan has become a multimedia franchise and Howard’s stories have become the basis for films, comic books, games, cartoons, etc. Because of the character’s popularity and longevity, copies of this1930s Weird Tales issue is highly sought after by collectors.
