This issue marked the first appearance of Buck Rogers, one of science fiction's most famous characters. The story in which he appeared is Philip Francis Nowlan's Armageddon 2419 A.D. The character would go on to appear in comics, movie serials, television series, etc. Because of its age and the importance of the character, this issue is highly collectable
